Safe and Sound Protocol

The Safe and Sound Protocol retrains the nervous system to interpret social cues from faces, body language, and the human voice as signs of safety and connection.

The Safe and Sound Protocol is a listening therapy designed to stimulate the vagus nerve and promote a state of calm social connection. Clients engaging in the SSP will listen to specially designed music with high frequencies used in human speech. Through several hours of listening, paired with calming interactions with a therapist, clients can retrain their autonomic nervous system to associate speech sounds with safety and connection.

The SSP is designed for use with children, teens, and adults and is ideal for clients experiencing sensory processing challenges, auditory sensitivity, and difficulties with social connection. Schedule a free consultation to learn more.
